Whatever you have forgotten, you can remember. Whatever you have buried you can unearth. If you are willing to look deep into your own nature, if you are willing to peel away the layers of not-self you have adopted in making your way through the tribulations of life, you will find that your true self is not as far removed as you think. Meredith Jordan
Without God, your life can never be meaningful because God is the Whole and you are just a fragment. You are just an image. You are just a line of poetry. You are just a lyric— alone, you will never compose the whole song. With the whole song significance is published because significance lies in relationship to the whole. Remember this! And remember who you are! For you were once citizens of heaven whose address was temporarily changed to E-a-r-t-h. You were once an arms bearer of love. You were once a highly ranked officer in heavens administration of divine health. You were once a bridge that reached the state of gratitude. You were once a beautiful sentence written in the diary of God.
But now, you have closed your eyes to hope. Now you have forgotten the way to your destiny. Why is the bridge broken? Why is your energy lacking grace? Why has your heart stopped feeding you love intravenously? Why is your inner-well filled with guilt and apathy? What happened to your inner-child? What happened to your song? What happened to the heavenly power God gave you to create, to build, to dream, to heal, to give, to receive, to love, to worship, to bless, to honor Self? Why can’t you remember who you are in the empty room? Why do you keep missing your moment of visitation? Today we are returning to self (remembrance).
Father God, forgive us! Forgive us for making such weak use of your imperial power. Forgive us for dropping our association with heaven. And forgive us for losing faith in who we are.
Father, forgive us for interfering with the two worlds meeting. For it is written: that what is in heaven is to be reflected on earth, because we are citizens of both countries — heaven and earth.
Father, let us move forward in the knowledge that the only thing that exists between heaven and earth is fear. Bless us with the patience to exist on the boundary where the two realms meet. Open our eyes so that we might see that we belong to life; that we belong to Eternity; that through Christ Jesus we have a heritage of immortality; that we are ambassadors of heaven and earth; that we are a significant line of poetry in your universal poem.
Amen!
